Mr. Lewis Larmar Mora, age 82, of Mexia, Texas, passed away Tuesday, February 5, 2013, at The Manor Healthcare Residence in Mexia.He was born to parents John H. Mora and Addie Whitten Mora on December 21, 1930 in Nacogdoches, Texas
Mr. Mora, a former longtime resident of the Nacogdoches area, was a U.S. Air Force veteran.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Agnes "Jean" Mora, in 2006; brothers, T.J. Mora, Walter Mora, Johnnie Mora; sisters, Alice Brock, Allie Wilburn, Josephine Skrivanek and Betty Shadden.
He is survived by his brother, Glen Mora and wife Aline; sister, Eddie Houston both of Irving, Texas; three grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services are set for 2:30 p.m. Thursday at Cason Monk-Metcalf Sunset Chapel, located at 5400 North Street in Nacogdoches. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, located at 5127 North Street in Nacogdoches.
Pallbearers will be local veterans of VFW Post #3893.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 7, from 1:00 tp 2:30 prior to the service at Cason Monk-Metcalf.
Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park with United States Air Force rendering honors.
