Miss Lillian Butts
UNION-Services for Lillian Elizabeth Butts will be held at 11:00 a. m. on Monday, February 4th, at Stephen Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Clyde Butts officiating. Burial will follow in the County Line Cemetery, with Stephens Funeral Home of Union in charge of the arrangements.
Miss Butts, age 93, of Union, went to her eternal home on Sunday, February 03, 2013, at Lairds hospital in Union.
Survivors include one brother, W. F. "Dub" Butts and his wife, Elizabeth, of Union; and fifty nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents: John Alexander and Mary Annie Brooks Butts, eleven brothers and sisters: Gertie B. Crocker, Martin M. Butts, Matthew Butts, Mertis E. Butts, William Otto Butts, A. V. Butts, Billy Butts, Clara B. Rush, Mable B. McMullan, Barney B. Winstead, and Sara B. Allgood.
Visitation will be from 9 – 11 a.m. the day of the service at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be: Johnny McMullan, Bob Butts, Rayburn Rush, Paul Winstead, Jimmy Allgood, Paul B. McMullan. Honorary pallbearers will be: Howard Buts, Velpo McMullan, and Joe Butts.
