Lillie Pearl Klutz, 76, of Hartland, went to be with her Lord on Wednesday July 24, 2013. Lillie was born to John and Vera Arney Adkins on December 6, 1936, and is survived by her children Connie Klutz, Teresa Berry, Ronnie Klutz, and Lisa Teague Richards. She loved to spoil her ten grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and was awaiting her first great-great grandchild in October. Two of her grandchildren, Amy Williams and Jayden Peyton, will be welcoming her in Heaven.
Lillie was a proud employee of Burke Mills for 39 years and was instrumental in the founding of Hartland Pentecostal Holiness Church, now known as Abundant Life Tabernacle. She loved shopping and traveling, especially to Dollywood. She went on her first mission trip at age 75!
Her life will be celebrated at Bethel United Methodist Church on Bethel Rd. in Morganton on Sunday July 28, 2013. Family and friends will be able to say goodbye beginning at 3 PM with a celebration service at 4 PM. Interment will follow in church cemetery near her beloved Amy.
