Mrs. Linda Adkins went home to be with her Lord, Tuesday, December 18, 2012. She was 64.

Linda Sue Sitz Adkins was born June 1, 1948 in Ozark, Alabama, daughter of the late Albert Wesley Sitz, Sr. and Glennie Ruth Goodson Sitz. Linda married Douglas Eugene Adkins September 21, 1963 in the house of Judge Kirk Adams, Sr. She was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church and Eastern Star and worked for the United States Postal Service for 25 years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Judy Sauls.
Survivors include her husband of 49 years, Douglas Adkins; one son, Barry Adkins, and wife, Jackie, of Enterprise, AL; three brothers: Robert Sitz and wife, Judy, of Ozark, AL, Jimmy Sitz of Macon, GA, and Albert W. Sitz, Jr. of Harvest, AL; two sisters: Christine Roberts and Debra Lowe, both of Ozark, AL; five grandchildren: Tyler, Caitlyn, Madelyn, Jared and Madyson, all of Enterprise, AL; and 24 nieces and nephews.
