Llewellyn JR. Mosher "JR", 93, of Albion, NY, passed away on Thursday, August 21, 2014 after a long illness.
Born on December 23, 1920 in Cameron Mills, NY, he was the son of the late Llewellyn and Alice (Bissell) Mosher.
JR. grew up in the Kent \Kendall area, working on the family farm. In 1970, he married the former Rita Thompson. JR. and retired from Duffy-Motts of Hamlin as a tow motor operator and truck driver.
He is survived by his wife, Rita Mosher of Albion; children, Lew Allen Mosher of Geneseo; Charles L. Mosher of Arizona; Shelia Mosher of Albion; and Rita's daughter Pamela of Albion; a granddaughter, Miranda; three siblings, Alice Bonnewell of Rochester; John Mosher of Clarence; Orris (Delores) Mosher of Hamlin; and many nieces and nephews.
JR is predeceased by three brothers, Melvin, Norman and James.
A Memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 30, 2014 at 11:00 AM at the Merrill-Grinnell Funeral Home, 12 Ingersoll St. Albion, NY 14411. Burial will be at the Greenwood Cemetery, Kendall, NY.
