Lloyd H. Baisch
Lloyd H. Baisch joined his deceased parents on May 27, 2013 with his family at his side. He was born July 3, 1931 in Los Angeles, California to Harry and Edith Baisch. A few years later they moved to Twin Falls and Lloyd attended Washington School and graduated from Twin Falls High School in 1949. He attended Idaho State College.
He married Katherine Jasper on January 20, 1957. He owned and operated his own Shell station, then worked for Kirkman Brothers and Sun Valley Stages for over 38 years.
Lloyd was very active in Boy Scouts and received an award in 1978 for restarting Troop 63 at St. Edward's Catholic Church. He was a leader of Troop 63 Explorer Scouts and received the Silver Beaver award from the Snake River Council in 1981 for his dedication to scouting. Lloyd was also a member of the Affiliate Facility for the American Heart Association for over 10 years. He enjoyed Elk hunting and helped with the Gem State Racing Pigeon Club with his son Marc.
Lloyd is survived by his wife of 56 years, Katherine and his only sister Merilyn (John) Parkinson of Kirkland, Washington. He will be greatly missed by his four children; Steve (Susan) Baisch, Marc Baisch, Ken (Crystal) Baisch, and Claudine Baisch. He was especially proud of his grandchildren Haley, Bradley, Matthew and Jacob Baisch. He is also survived by multiple nieces, nephews and cousins.
A celebration of Lloyd's life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 1, 2013 at Reynolds Funeral Chapel, 2466 Addison Ave. East, Twin Falls with Pastor Jim O'Donnell officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park. At Lloyd's request there will be no public viewing. Services are under the direction of Trent Stimpson and staff at Reynolds Funeral Chapel, Twin Falls.
Memorial contributions may be given in Lloyd's name to Snake River Council of Boy Scouts. Contributions may be given to funeral chapel staff or mailed to Reynolds Funeral Chapel, P.O. Box 1142, Twin Falls, ID 83303.
