Lois Boardman of Del City, 94 passed on to be with her Lord on January 26, 2013. She was born September 28, 1918, Northwest of Paden Oklahoma to Wesley Baxter McClain and Lucinda Jane Nicks. Lois graduated Paden High School in 1937 as Valedictorian of her class. She studied general business at the Oklahoma School of Accounting, Law and Finance Business from 1937 to 1939. She married Jack Wesley Boardman on December 24, 1940. She held several jobs during the early 40's and was a bookkeeper for W.P. Atkinson Realty Company from 1961 to 1981. She was an active member of the Del City Church of Christ from 1957. She was also active in the Del City Garden Club. She is survived by her sons: Duane Boardman of Edmond, OK, Larry and wife Lynn Boardman of Phoenix, AR, her daughter Cindy and husband Charles Lonergan of Owasso, OK and her grandchildren; Brett, Travis, and Darrell Lonergan, Teri Bartlett, Evan, Todd and Jay Boardman and three great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Jack, siblings Charles (CW), Floyd, Lera, Imogene, Bernice, and Norma.
