Lois J. Gordon, 62, of Union City, won her battle with cancer and went to be with her Lord, Wednesday, September 4, 2013 at Oaklawn Hospital in Marshall. She was born December 25, 1950 in Salyersville, KY to Freeland and Madgie (Barnett) Collins. She married Dale Gordon February 24, 1968 in Partello, Michigan. He survives.
Lois was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Union City. She loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Lois is survived by her husband, Dale, 1 son; Tony (Rene') Gordon of Union City, 1 daughter; Amber (James) Fitzpatrick of Union City, 8 grandchildren, 2 brothers; Don Collins of Union City, Rick Marshall of Union City, 2 sisters; Judy Pitchford of Union City and Tammy Duncan also of Union City. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers; Jerry and Dion.
Services will be held on Saturday, September 7, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. with one hour of visitation prior to the service at the Assembly of God in Union City with Pastor Pete Payne officiating. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Union City. Memorial contributions may be made to the family

I am so surprised to see that Lois has left us, we grew up togeather, hello Dale, Tony and Amber. We lost touch around the 1980's, but I always thought of her and her family. Know this to be true, she is with Jesus now.
