Bauer, Loris Dexter, MI
Age 80 died peacefully after a courageous battle for eight years with multiple myeloma. She died at home peacefully with her family by her side. She was born on October 10, 1928 in Beulah Michigan to the parents of Lloyd and Gladys Jones. She was married for 60 wonderful years to George Bauer. She is preceded in death by her parents, brother Adrian Jones, sister Carol Brooks, and loving son Dennis Bauer. She is survived by her husband George Bauer, son David Bauer, daughters Bonnie (Tom) Heald, Sherri (Jeff) Kalman all of Dexter, grandson Brandon Bauer of Ann Arbor, three wonderful great-grandchildren Justine, Kayla and Noah Bauer, and her loving dog Heidi, sister Olive (Gaylord) Eberle of Saline and many nieces and nephews. Loris was a wonderful wife and mom for 60 years. Loris was employed at Wendy's for five years after raising her children. She is a life long Ann Arbor bowler and is also a Moose member. Visitation will be at Hosmer-Muehlig Funeral Chapel 3410 Broad St. Dexter, Michigan on Monday, February 23, 2009 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral service will be on Tuesday at 11 a.m. with burial to follow at Bethlehem Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Greater Hillsdale Humane Society. Envelopes will be provided at the funeral home.
