Lottie Frances Alexander, 84, of Starcrest Nursing Home, Cartersville, Georgia died Monday, December 27, 2010.
Mrs. Alexander was born November 10, 1926 in Bartow County, the daughter of the late, Joe Henry , Sr. and Lottie Smith Black, was retired from Goodyear Mills and of the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Alvin Alexander, a sister, Lou Ella Barton and brothers, John Black and Jimmy Black.
Surviving are her step children, Juanita and Wendell Holcomb, Carolyn and David Howell, Wilson Alexander, Hugh Alexander, Kathy Alexander, Chris and Nancy Alexander, ten step grandchildren, nine step great grandchildren, sister and brother in law, Betty and Paul David Wilson, brother and sister in law, Joseph,Jr and Shirley Black and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 29, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Owen Funeral Home with Rev. Kenny Jacobs officiating.
Burial will follow in Stamp Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday evening from 5:00-8:00 p.m.
Pallbearers will be John Paul Black, Dale Black, Levi Camp, Jason Alexander, John Seymore and Shawn Brown.
Honorary pallbearers will be Paul David Wilson, H.C. Shuler, James Shuler and Esco Black.
Owen Funeral Home, 12 Collins Drive, Cartersville, Georgia is in charge of the arrangements.
