Louella Bartlett, 77, died at 7:15 a.m. Thursday, September 1, 2011, in a local hospital.
Louella was a Vinton native who attended St. Joseph Catholic Church. She loved gardening, spending time with her puppies and her family. She enjoyed all outdoor activities. She loved to cook and can. She really enjoyed going to the beauty shop for her weekly hairdo and hen party.
Survivors include her husband, Paul Bartlett; brother John Ray Laughlin; and her sisters Bernece Cormier and Elaine Clark.
She is preceded in death by her parents Ervin Laughlin, Sr. and Amy Laughlin; brothers Ervin Laughlin, Jr. and Anthony Laughlin; and sisters Rosalie Vincent and Helen Savoy.
Her funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, September 3, in Hixson Funeral Home of Vinton. The Rev. Susil Fernando will officiate. Burial will be in Big Woods Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 5-9 p.m. with a rosary at 7 p.m. and from 8-10 a.m. Saturday, all in the funeral home
