Louise (Ferrara) "Wesha" Alessi, 82, of the North End of Boston passed away on Wed. Jan. 16, 2013. Beloved daughter of the late, Adam and Mabel (Govonie) Ferrara. Cherished mother of Richard Alessi, Jr. and his wife Donna of Medford; loving grandmother of Richard M. Alessi & wife Sheila of Tewkesbury and Jaime Alessi; devoted great grandmother of Juliana Alessi and Nicholas Alessi; dear sister of Madeline Ferrara of Florida and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She is predeceased by her brothers and sisters Evelen Sardone, Wanda Vigorito, Angela Tanso, Dominic Ferrara, Louis Ferrara, Michael "Gerald" Ferrara and George Ferrara.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2013 at 8:45am from the Boston Harborside Home, 580 Commercial Street, Boston, MA 02109 for a 9:45am Mass at St. Leonard's Church on the corner of Prince and Hanover Sts. Family will be accepting visitors on Monday from 4- 8pm. Interment to follow at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
