Luciana (nee Sciarretta) Colavita, of West Orange, passed away in St. Barnabas Hospital, Livingston, N.J. on Saturday July 31, 2010.
Mrs. Colavita is the beloved wife of Umberto Colavita; devoted mother of Joanne Nastasi; dear sister of Luisa and Rossana Sciarretta, Rita Conosciani and Maria Ianetti, and cherished grandmother of Nick and Monica Nastasi.
Mrs. Luciana was a hairdresser and owner of Zena's Salon in Florham Park for 40 years before retiring 10 years ago. She was a member and vice-president of the Sant'Elia A Pianesi Club.
The funeral will be conducted from the LaMonica Memorial Home, 145 E. Mt. Pleasant Ave, Livingston on Tuesday, August 3rd at 9:00 a.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Raphael's Church, Livingston at 10:00 a.m. Entombment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover. Visitation will be Monday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. In lieu of flowers please make memorial donations to the American Cancer Society.
