A native and resident of DeRidder, LA, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, August 29, 2012 in Lake Charles, LA at the age of 86.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, James Bordelon; son, Gary Bordelon; infant son, Travis Bordelon; parents, Joe and Maudie Martin; son-in-law, William Fraim; brothers, Winston and Ottis Martin.
She is survived by her daughters, Janice Leonard of DeRidder and Gladys Fraim of Lake Charles; sons, Ronald Bordelon of Merryville, Freddie Bordelon and his wife Bonnie of Baton Rouge, Glen Bordelon and his wife Susan, of Alexandria; grandchildren, Jimmy, Chris and Joe Bordelon, Jason Leonard, Theresa Rutherford, Yvette Townsend, Paula Campagna, Barbara Fraim and Alison Saunders; 13 great-grandchildren; 1 great great-grandchild.
Lunette was a member of Texas Avenue Baptist Church in DeRidder and was a member of the Women's Missionary Union and a teacher for the Beginners Sunday School class.
The family will receive visitors on Friday, August 31, 2012 at Hixson Funeral Home, DeRidder from 10AM until funeral services in the funeral home chapel at 2:00 PM conducted by Bro. Jimmy Brossette. Burial will follow in Beauregard Cemetery, DeRidder.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made to the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering in care of Texas Avenue Baptist Church, DeRidder.
