PAWNEE, IL -
Mabel L. Bauer, 87, formerly of Bloomington passed away at 1:00p.m. on Sunday January 16, 2011 at her residence in Pawnee, IL.
She was born April 14, 1923 in Charleston, West Virginia, daughter of Asa and Sylvia Murray Stroud. She married Peter James Bauer on February 28, 1947 in Bloomington.
Mabel was preceded in death by three sisters Evelyn Dorfmeister, Jackie Hebel and Macel K. Lust her twin. She was also preceded by her daughter Sharon Kaye Bauer and her parents.
She is survived by one daughter; Rebecca (Joseph) Daugherty, one son; Michael L. (Deb) Bauer, two grandsons; John Pingelton and Brian Bauer, one granddaughter; Kathleen Pingelton, two step grandchildren Joseph Daugherty Jr. and Lisa Penn , 9 great grandchildren and 2 step great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday January 19, 2011 and East Lawn Funeral Home in Bloomington. Visitation will take place one hour prior also at East Lawn Funeral Home in Bloomington.
