Mrs. Mable Marie Baxter, age 89 passed away August 28, 2011 at her home in Minor Hill.
She was the daughter of the late Billy and Jennie Clinard Chambers.
She is preceded in death by her husband L. E. Baxter, son Buddy Baxter, Grandson Dennis Hood, son-in-laws Daniel Hood, Frank Moore, and Dewey Chambers.
She is survived by her seven daughters Dorothy Hood of Goodspring, Robbie Wise and husband William of Lester, AL, Hazel Moore of Athens, AL, Darlene Adams and husband Gene of Pulaski, Faye Chambers of Anderson, AL, Geneva Thornton and husband Jimmy of Minor Hill, Carol Stay and husband Micky of Minor Hill, daughter-in-law Lynada Baxter of Lester, AL, 25 grandchildren, 52 great grandchildren, 39 great-great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Monday August 29, 2011 from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Carr & Erwin Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at Hester's Chapel Church of Christ with Bro Mark Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Hester Cemetery.
