Milton Maness Bartlett, 92, of Booneville, passed away on Thursday, September 12, 2013 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Booneville. He was a former Jackson County supervisor and entrepreneur in the fields of furniture manufacturing and construction, among other ventures.
Mr. Bartlett was often described as a man who could walk into any room and own it. Anyone who crossed his path knew this to be true. He had an amazing sense of humor and a contagious laugh. He never met a stranger and could find something in common with just about anyone. Mr. Bartlett was known for his storytelling abilities, and he had lots of life adventures that kept his audience captivated while he spoke. His legacy will live on in the hearts of his sons, as well as in the heart and soul of his "partner," his beloved grandson, Braxton.
