Margaret Wallace Bartenfield

October 16, 1939 - October 26, 2012
Mrs. Margaret Wallace Bartenfield, 73, of Greensboro, departed from this life on Friday, October 26, 2012, at her home.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Monday, October 29, 2012, at Hanes-Lineberry Vanstory Chapel, with Chaplain John Connor officiating. Burial will follow at Westminster Gardens Cemetery.
Born October 16, 1939, to the late Edward and Allie Wallace, Mrs. Bartenfield was of the Baptist faith. Margaret loved to travel and has traveled all over the United States. She has also traveled to Europe, Mexico, and the Caribbean, but her favorite places to visit were the North Carolina beaches. Margaret most loved spending time with her five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren and in turn, they loved being spoiled by their Nanny. In addition to her parents, Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Eugene Bartenfield; sisters, Billie Mae Andrews, Mildred Moore, Hildred Reeder, Doris Long, and Helen Wyrick; and a brother, Wesley Wallace.
Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Joni Carter and her husband Tim of Reidsville, Jimmy "Bo" Bartenfield and his wife Thresa of Randleman, and Cheryl Spencer and her husband Thomas of Asheboro; brother, Edward Wallace; grandchildren, Samantha Carter, Dusty Marion, Michelle Bartenfield, Candace Marion, and Traci Waddell; and great-grandchildren, Sean, Adalie, Jaydin, Zaylan, and Chloe.
The family will receive friends from 7 until 9 pm Sunday evening, October 28, 2012, at Hanes-Lineberry Vanstory Chapel and other times at the residence.
