Margaret Wells Gayton, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She was preceded in death by her husband Daniel Joseph Gayton Sr. and is survived by their two sons, Daniel Jr. (Joanne) of Oakland, CA and Richard of Los Angeles along with four grandchildren Nicholas, Emily, Cameron and Christian.
She is also the sister of retired Superior Court Judge Richard L. Wells of Los Angeles and the late Robert Runkle Wells of Columbus, OH.
With her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Leslie 'Prep' Wells, and her brothers, Margaret Ann Wells moved from Columbus, OH to Beverly Hills when she was four.
She attended Beverly Hills schools, Marlborough and UCLA.
The Gayton family enjoyed many years of happiness in Los Angeles, Pacific Palisades and the Beach Club.
Margaret's optimistic personality and outlook on life will be sorely missed.
Services are private. Memorial contributions may be made in Margaret's name to a charity of your choice.
