Maria Antonia Acevedo, 78, of Cape Coral, FL passed away on Thursday, January 3, 2013. She was born on February 3, 1934 in Puerto Rico to Jose and Eduarda Rosario Cruz.
Maria is survived by her loving family including her children, Jaime (Eileen) Acevedo, Rafael (Carol) Acevedo, Mildred (Pete) Doddato, and Alex (Joann) Cadreau; grandchildren, Racquel (Chris) Matijak, Jennifer (Joseph) Matlock, Sydni Acevedo, James (Lisa) Acevedo, David (Bonny) Acevedo, Michael (Sheena) Acevedo, Daniel Figueroa, Robert Figueroa, and Elisa (Aaron) Dunn; 12 great grandchildren; siblings, Lucy Cruz, Salvador Cruz, Jose Luis Cruz, Carmen Rosario, and Reynaldo Cruz. Maria is preceded in death by her husband Jaime Acevedo, daughter Evelyn Cadreau, and sister, Esther Mendez.
Visitation will start at 4 p.m. with the Funeral Services celebrated at 5 p.m. on Sunday, January 6th at Lighthouse Fellowship, 269 SW 2nd Terrace, Cape Coral.
