Maria Elena Alvarado, was called home to be with the Lord, on November 24, 2012, at the age of 69. She is preceded in death by her parents, Daniel G. and Eloisa Ramos. Maria Elena, is survived by her beloved husband of 49 years & 6 months, Simon G. Alvarado, daughters; Belinda Ramos (Tommy), Rebecca O'Con (Ronald), Maricela Nasis (David), grandchildren; Desiree and Dominique Ramos, Derek, Cerissa and Simon Nasis, sister Delfina Tejeda (Ramon), Aunt Maria Guerra and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation will begin, Wednesday, November 28, 2012 at 9:00a.m. at Trevino Funeral Home, 2525 Palo Alto Rd. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening. A funeral procession will depart the funeral home, Thursday, November 29, 2012 at 9:30 a.m. for a 10:00 a.m Mass of christian burial, to be celebrated at St. Lawrence Catholic Church. Interment to follow in El Carmen Cemetery Ministry, San Antonio, Texas.
