Marianne Masters Ackmann,
64, of Indianapolis, departed this life Tuesday, May 29, 2012. Marianne was born August 9, 1947 in Indianapolis to the late Dr. Robert John and Mary Eleanor (Murphy) Masters. Marianne was a proud member of the first graduating class of Bishop Chatard High School in 1965. She then earned her Bachelor's of Art degree from St. Mary-of-the-Woods College. Prior to becoming a homemaker, she was an interior designer at L.S. Ayres. Marianne was a member of the Ladies Ancient Order of the Hibernians. Marianne was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 37 years, Stephen A. Ackmann. She is survived by her loving children, son, John K. Ackmann, and daughters, Elizabeth (Jim) Elias and Allison (Pat) Gibbs and her grandchildren, Nick and Mary Elias. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11:30AM on Monday, June 4th in St. Luke Catholic Church. Visitation for Marianne will be from 4 – 8 PM Sunday, June 3rd in Feeney-Hornak Keystone Mortuary.
