Mrs. Marilyn Ann Bailey Barnard 58, of New Llano, LA went to be with the Lord on July 12, 2012.
Mrs. Marilyn Barnard was born in Baton Rouge, LA on August 31, 1953, to Tom Bailey and Janet Robicheaux.
Mrs. Marilyn Barnard was a retired Para Professional with Special Needs Children with the Vernon Parish School Board. Marilyn loved her pets dearly. Mrs. Barnard loved her family dearly; she will be missed by all.
Mrs. Barnard is preceded in death by her parents, Tom Bailey and Janet Robicheaux Bailey.
Mrs. Barnard is survived by her husband, Larry Barnard of New Llano, LA, sons; Charlie Ray Martin III of New Llano, LA and Wesley Barnard of El Paso, TX, daughters; Tiffany Martin of Leesville, LA, Megan Martin of Leesville, LA and Stacey Barnard of Carthage, TX, sister; Karen Hodnett of Deville, LA, brothers; Ted Bailey of Waxahachie, TX and Tommy Bailey of Rockwall, TX, grandchildren; Kelsey Martin, Chad Harvey, Bailey Harvey, Traez Martin, Allora Barnard, Zachary Stevens and a host of nieces and nephews. She also left behind four special animals Doobie and Cleo and two cats, Gizmo and Lil- Man.
Visitation will be held Friday, July 13, 2012 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Hixson Funeral Home Chapel in Leesville, LA. Services will be held Saturday, July 14, 2012 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel, Leesville. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery in Leesville under the direction of Hixson Funeral Home of Leesville, LA.
