Marion V. Cloutier, age 85 of Rhinelander, died on Wednesday, October 5, 2011 at the Alice Haus. She was born at St. Mary's Hospital in Rhinelander, WI on November 27, 1925 to Archel and Mary (Malz) Cloutier. She graduated from St. Mary's School in 1939 and Rhinelander High School in 1943. Following a term at the Rhinelander Vocational School, she worked at J.C. Penny Company office for two years and the Schiek Clinic for nine and a half years. She began her career at St. Mary's Hospital in July of 1956 where she held various positions, retiring in December 1993. Marion was a life-long member at St. Mary's Church and was an active participant at the local, Deanery and Diocesan levels. After retirement she volunteered in St. Mary's Church Office on a daily basis for approximately nine years and for the Nativity Parish a couple days a week for two years.
Marion is survived by her cousins Sister M. Celcilia of Manitowoc, Rosemary Herman of Janesville, Cindy (Tom) Hanson of Little Rock, Arkansas and Maxine Glessing of Rhinelander, and many cherished friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Nativity of Our Lord ( St. Mary's Site) on Tuesday, October 11, 2011 at 12:00 P.M. with Father John Gerritts, Father James Brinkman and Father Mike Hayden officiating. Interment will follow in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. at the church until the time of mass.
