AIAZZI, Mark L., 2/13/1956-1/13/2013, Beloved husband and best friend of Joan (nee Childress) for 32 years; Loving son of Josephine and the late Louis Aiazzi; Much loved brother of Karen (Michael) Diehl. Perfect and cherished father of Sarah (Corey) Miller, Anthony (Cynthia), Mary (Daniel) Speciale, Matthew (fiancé Anna Monrotus) and Rose Marie. Proud Grandfather of William Mark and Benjamin Conrad Miller and Grandbabies Aiazzi and Speciale, both due in May. Favorite uncle and Godfather of many. Faithful friend to all.
Mark was the owner of Rigazzi's Restaurant, where he served frozen fishbowls, plates of pasta and quick wit for over 40 years. He was a devoted coach, an avid St. Louis sports fan, a sports radio talk show junkie, a competitive fantasy football player (and he usually won!), a comic genius and a wonderful man. Mark was faith-filled and kind; he would always thank a service man or veteran and would ask you to do the same. He will be profoundly missed.
SERVICES: Visitation 4-9pm Wednesday, January 16, 2013 at HOFFMEISTER COLONIAL MORTUARY 6464 Chippewa at Watson. Funeral Mass 10am Thursday, January 17, 2013 at Our Lady of Providence Catholic Church. Interment Resurrection Cemetery.
