1957 - 2011
Frank passed away suddenly at the age of 54. He was the beloved father of Jennie (Darryl) and grandfather of McKoy. Frank is also survived by his mother, Agnes, and his three sisters: Donna, Susan and Janet, and many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. He was sadly predeceased by his father, Elswood, on June 17, 2008.
Frank was born in Regina, Saskatchewan. The family spent many years travelling around until they settled in Calgary in 1967. Throughout his life, Frank lived in Calgary, Edson, and Port Hardy, finally settling in Edgewood, BC, which he called home. Along the way, Frank touched many lives and made life-long friends. He was always willing to lend a hand and never asked for anything in return. We all cherished the time we had spent with him.
Viewing will be held in Vernon, BC on Wednesday, November 23rd, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at Pleasant Valley Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will take place in Edgewood, BC in the Legion Hall at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 24th, 2011.
