LTC Marvin E. Alexander, retired U.S. Army, passed away March 17, 2011 at the age of 64 years. He was born in Santa Barbara, California on April 19, 1946. He was preceded in death by his parents, Homer and Nadine Alexander and a brother Homer Alexander Jr. He is survived by his wife Mary Alexander; son, Jeffrey Alexander; step-son, Alex Mandujano; granddaughter, Pantera Alexander; sisters, Jeanine Mangle, Jeanette Viera, Jeanelle Silva. A memorial service will be conducted at 3:00 P.M. Saturday, March 26, 2011 at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home, 6321 Bandera Road. A graveside service will be conducted on Tuesday, March 29, 2011 at 9:30 A.M. at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, in San Antonio, Texas with Full Army military honors. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
