ABRAMS, MARY IRVIN JOYNER Mary Irvin Joyner Abrams passed away on May 10, 2011. She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Howard L. Abrams, Sr., an infant grandson, Johnathan David Abrams, three brothers and four sisters. Survivors are son, Howard L. Abrams, Jr; daughter in law, Rebecca D. Abrams; grand daughter, Katherine Abrams Gray (Thomas) and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Mrs. Abrams was a home maker and long time active member of Dawson Memorial Baptist Church in Homewood, Alabama. Visitation will be from 1:00 to 2:00 on Thursday, May 12, 2011 at Ridout's Valley Chapel in Homewood, Alabama. Graveside services will be held at Elmwood Cemetery at 2:30. Services will be officiated by Dr. Gary Fenton. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the Martha Sunday School Class at Dawson Memorial Baptist Church or Samaritan's Purse.
