Mary Lee Adams Passed away 6 August, 2012, at her home in Hatton, WA.
Mary Lee was born 8 June 1940 to Nathan Ross Tosh and Viola Lucille (Hill) Tosh in Ruddell Hill, Arkansas which is a small rural area located near Batesville.
She moved to Othello with her family in 1962 and worked at Chef Reddy Foods until she married Robert Jacob Adams in 1971. Bob owned an apple orchard in Chelan and Mary loved living on top of the mountains overlooking Chelan. They were very generous with the bounty of their orchard and shared produce with family and friends. They retired and moved to Hatton, WA in 1986.
Mary faced life with a strong determination and accepted the challenges that came her way. She w2as a two time Breast Cancer survivor and for nine years was the sole caretaker for her husband after his stroke.
She had feisty attitude and could often be heard yelling at the "blind referees" as she watched her favorite wrestling programs on TV. Mary took great pride in her garden and enjoyed listing to her Elvis records. She was known for her sweet rolls, enchiladas, banana pudding and beautiful crocheted items.
Mary is survived by three brothers: Clyde (Carolyn) Martin of Idleyld, OR, Carl (LeAnn) Tosh of Othello, David Sartin of Cunningham, WA. & her stepson, Bobbie (Karen) Adams of Black Diamond, WA, numerous nieces and nephews, and step granddaughter.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and brother Charlie Martin.
