Our Angel Mary peacefully went to Heaven at age 65. Preceded in death by her puppy MAX; parents, Bob & Phyllis Allen; sister, Jannine Steffensen; brother-in-law, Frank Schaefer; nephews, Ron Schaefer & Jon Steffensen; niece, Teri Larkin; gr. niece, Shawna Nohr; devoted cousin, RoyLee Allen; & best friend, LeAnn Martinson. Survived by sister, Judy Schaefer; nieces, Shym (Dick) Cook, Stephanie (Jim Merriman) Olsrud, Chris (Bill) Thompson, Judy (Chris) Hutchinson; nephews, Richard Schaefer & James Steffensen; loving aunts, uncles and cousins in the Allen Family, cousins in Schaefer & DuLac families; gr. nieces & nephews & 4 gr.-gr. nieces and nephews, friends & loving caretakers & staff at Lynwood Care Center & previous Camden Nursing Home; wonderful group from North Memorial Hospice who cared for Mary throughout the past 6 years; old neighbors, gr. nephew, Shane Nohr; Doris Jauntilla & Madlyn Fischer who watched out for Mary. Many other friends from Independent Goers, Cerebral Palsey Foundation and Courage Center remember her grateful smile. We'll celebrate with Mass of the Angels at Church of the Epiphany, 1900 111th Ave. NW, Coon Rapids, Jan. 3rd (Her Mom's birthday) at 11:00 am with visitation 1 hour prior. Burial in the spring at Sunset Memorial.
