Mary R. (Ramos) Almeida, 96, formerly of Duncan Avenue, passed away November 30, 2012. She was the daughter of the late Francisco and Rose (Almeida) Ramos. She was the wife of the late Quirino Almeida.
Mother of Rudolfo Almeida, Faustina Hooker, Gloria Selby, Rosemarie Stamps and the late Abel Almeida. She is survived by 11 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren, sister of the late Peter Ramos and Patricia Duarte; loving aunt to several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Monday, 4-7 p.m. with a funeral on Tuesday at 9:00 a.m. from the PONTARELLI-MARINO Home, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in the Holy Name of Jesus Church, 99 Camp Street, Providence.
