Mary Lou Arrington, age 78, of Houston Valley Road, Greeneville, formerly of Laws Road, died Friday morning, June 17, 2011, at her home.
She had been a caregiver and was a former employee of MECO for 30 years.
She is survived by four daughters and a son-in-law: Mary Ramsey, Jeraldine and Buster Johnson, and Tonya Hensley of Greeneville, and Linda Ramsey of Mosheim; two sons and a daughter-in-law: Bobby Ramsey of Greeneville, McKinley and Shirley Ramsey of Chuckey; grandchildren: Heather Stokely, Brandon Ramsey, Melissa and Adam Johnson, Charles, Dustin, and Ashley Haynes, Jeffery Fillers, Jonathan Gunter, Bobby Lynn Collins, Angie Ramsey, Mary Ellen Johnson, and Marty Ramsey; several great grandchildren; two special great grandchildren: Jayden and Andrew Johnson; brother: Jack Fleming of Florida; and several nieces and nephews.
She was a daughter of the late Fontie and Dorothy Blair Hensley and was preceded in death by a special granddaughter: Crystal Riddle; and a sister: Rita Pearl Hensley.
The family will receive friends 5-8 p.m. Sunday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.
The funeral service will held at 12:00 p.m. Monday, June 20, 2011 in Kiser-Rose Hill Chapel.
Interment will follow in Greystone Cemetery.
Her pallbearers are Buster Johnson, Sammy Stokley, Brandon Ramsey, Schuyler Roberts, Dustin Haynes, and Charles Haynes.
Dr. Joseph Scott, the staff of 3 West at Laughlin Memorial Hospital, and the staff and employees of Smokey Mountain Hospice will serve as honorary pallbearers.
