MARY MARGARET BECK, 88, of Antwerp, Ohio, died on Sunday, Jan. 27, 2013, at Community Memorial Hospital, Hicksville, Ohio. Born Oct. 12, 1924, in Joliet, Ill., she was a daughter of the late William Cooper and Margaret (Smith) Cooper. She was a cashier at Grabill Super Value for 35 years. She was a member of Grabill Missionary Church. Surviving are her daughter, Annette Sue Beck of Antwerp, Ohio; son, Dennis (Claudia) Beck of Butler; grandchildren, Robert Beck of Butler and Lori (Ryan) Sholl of Hicksville, Ohio; great-grandchildren, Kameron Beck and Colin Sholl; and sister, Carolyn Boggs of Bryant, Ohio. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Beck, in 1982; two brothers, Robert and William Cooper; and three sisters, Elsie Brandenberger, June Bishchoff and Pearl. Funeral service is 11 a.m. Thursday at Hockemeyer Funeral Home, Harlan. The Rev. William Lepley officiating. Calling is from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial in Leo Cemetery.
