Mary (Parrella) Bentsen, 89, of Rankin Avenue, Providence passed away April 18, 2010. She was the wife of the late Albert Bentsen.
A lifelong resident of Providence, she was the daughter of the late Erminio and Rose (Fillipone) Parrella.
Mary was a supervisor for the former Welch, Textron, and North Safety Products, which is now Honeywell Safety, for many years before retiring.
She was the beloved mother of Patricia Bentsen and sister of Armando "Tiny" Parillo, and the late Philip Parillo, E. Robert Parrella, and Ida Castaldi. She was also aunt to several nieces and nephews
Her funeral will be held Friday at 8:00 am from the ROMANO FUNERAL HOME, 627 Union Avenue, Providence followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00 am in St. Bartholomew's Church, Laurel Hill Avenue, Providence.
