Mary C Brown, 92, formerly of Chillicothe, passed away November 19th, 2014 in Merritt Island, Florida.

She lived in Chillicothe for more than 75 years before moving to Cocoa Beach, Florida to be near her son and daughter-in-law. Mary was born May 1, 1922 and was married to Donald Brown of Chillicothe.

She worked for many years for the family business, C. F. Brown & Son, The Chillicothe Bulletin and The First National Bank.

She was the daughter of John and Dena Gasaway (deceased) of Chillicothe. She was preceded in death by her husband, Don. She is survived by her son Stephen & his wife Christina, three grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

She was a member of the Chillicothe First United Methodist Church.

Visitation will be at Davidson-Fulton-Anderson Chapel, 815 North Fourth St., Chillicothe, Illinois 61523 on December 4, 2014 at 11am with funeral services following at noon. Rev. Ron Martz will be officiating. Burial will be at the Chillicothe Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Chillicothe First United Methodist Church, 1023 N. Sixth Street, Chillicothe, Illinois 61523.
