Mary Lois Clark, age 66 of Hope Creek Care Center, East Moline, formerly of Rock Island, died Saturday, October 06, 2012 at the care center.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, October 9, 2012 at Hodgson Funeral Home, Rock Island. Funeral services will begin at 10 a.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home. Interment will take place at Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Memorials may be made to the Quad City Animal Welfare Center, Milan, IL.
Mary was born on July 24, 1946 in Chicago, the daughter of Charles and Beverly (Rogers) Swank. She married Herbert "Herb" Clark on November 4, 1967 in Rock Island.
Mary was a homemaker for most of her life. In her free time she enjoyed horseback riding, roller skating, bingo, and slots.
Survivors (and spouses) include her daughter, Kim (Mike) Baker, Hennepin, IL; sisters, Pat Hurt and Jan (Glenn) Wilson, all of Milan; her former spouse and friend, Herb Clark, Rock Island; and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Clark was preceded in death by her parents, and her son, Chad Clark.
