MARY E. HOWE, 87, of New Haven, died on Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2013, at Parkview Regional Medical Center. Born in Columbia City, Ind., she retired from General Electric. She is survived by her daughter, Maxine (Jim) Bailey of Gobles, Mich.; sons, Gaylord (Kay) Howe of Bluffton, Marvin (Juanita) Howe of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Ivan (Sandra) Howe of Decatur; 11 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Waveland; daughter, Donna Howe; parents, Albert and Elma Crabill; two brothers; and three sisters. Funeral service is 1:30 p.m. Monday, Jan. 14, 2013, at Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home, 6131 St. Joe Road, Fort Wayne. Visitation is from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Jan 13, 2012, at the funeral home.
