Mary Jo Jones Maxey 88 of Edna passed away October 5, 2012. She was born November 29, 1923 in Kerrville, TX to the late Joseph Coleman and Leah Wright Dugat. Mrs. Maxey was a retired school teacher with the Industrial Independent School District. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest P. "Ernie" Jones.
She is survived by her daughter, Jo Leah Boyd and husband Steven; sons, E. Preston Jones and wife Diane, Jim Jones and wife Donna and Chuck Jones and wife Bonnie; 11 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
A time of visitation will be held from 9 am to 10 am on Monday October 8, 2012 with services to begin at 10 am at Richardson Colonial Funeral. Burial will follow at the Greenlawn Gardens Cemetery.
