It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother Mary Isabel Mesa on November 22, 2012, however we rest in the knowledge that she is with The Lord, Family and Friends.
Mary was born on November 5, 1926, in San Juan De Los Lagos, Guadalajara Mexico. Mary came to the United States in 1934 as a young child.
While growing up in Oxnard she met Ruben. They fell in love, married on November 8, 1942, and had 70 wonderful years together. During that time they spent their lives in Oxnard and raised their three children. While raising her family she also worked for Oxnard/Santa Clara and Ventura Coastal Lemon Associations for 41 years until the time of her retirement in 1984, during that time she made many lifelong friends.
On April 12, 1999, she proudly became a Citizen of the United States. Mom loved camping, going to Las Vegas, lake Tahoe and Big Bear, She loved cooking, watching the Dodgers with Dad, and most of all Her Novellas. To mom, you will be missed but forever in our hearts. To dad, thanks for always being there and taking care of Mom, we love you.
