Mary Frances Ogle passed away peacefully at her daughter's home in Wilmington, Delaware on
July 7, 2014. She was born in Winston-Salem, NC in 1922, the daughter of the late Zachary T.
and Nellie (Fry) Harrison. She was married for 40 years to Benjamin C. Ogle, Jr. M.D. who died in
1984. She lived most of her life in Raleigh, the city she called home where she was a long-time
member of White Memorial Presbyterian Church. During the course of her life she was devoted to
her family and served as a positive influence for all who knew her.
She is survived by her son William Harrison Ogle and his wife Valerie Ogle of Ormond Beach,
Florida and her daughter, Melissa Ogle Jessup and her husband John Jessup of Wilmington,
Delaware. She is also survived by her grandchildren Mary Shravana Ogle (Kjell Brandt), Paul
Benjamin Jessup, Mary Elizabeth Garzoli (Dave Garzoli) and William Ogle, Jr. (Ajit Nair) as well
as great grandchildren, Brendon Ogle, Eilin Brandt and Sophia Garzoli along with numerous
nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at White Memorial Presbyterian Church, 1704 Oberlin Road,
Raleigh, on Sunday, July 13, 2014 at 2:00 pm. Burial will be private.
