Tobias, Mary Elizabeth, age 89, of Dayton passed away early Monday morning, December 3, 2012 at Brighton Gardens in Centerville. Born in Dayton to the late Mary (Round) and Henry Dorn, Mary is also preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Charles W Tobias. Mary is survived by 5 children: Mary Kay Jackman, David (Betty) Tobias, Netta Hawkins, Carol (Jay) Korros, and Sally (Glyn) Johnson. She is also survived by a special friend, Lee Yarnall; sister, Florence McCulloch; 3 grandchildren: Shawn Jackman, Wendy (Jon) Colvin, and Pam (Tom) Walton; and 5 great-grandchildren: Charlotte, Emma, and Henry Colvin, and Zachary and Alexandra Triplett. The funeral service will be held at 1pm, Friday, December 7, 2012 at Tobias Funeral Home-Belmont Chapel, 648 Watervliet Ave. Burial to follow in Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may visit from 11am until the time of service Friday. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Crossroads Hospice, Alzheimer's Association, or charity of choice.
