Maryvonne Ashley, 76, of Fayetteville, entered this world on April 24, 1935, and went to be with our Lord on August 15, 2011.
Mrs. Ashley was born in Beaumont sur Sarthe, France, to the late Jules and Maguerite Houdmon Depres.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Felder F. Ashley; and son, John T. Ashley.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her children, Christine Ashley Gallagher of Linden/Graham, NC, Nancy C. Carter of Havana, FL, Albert R. Ashley of Crawfordville, FL, and Richard A. Ashley of Orlando, FL; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at Reeves Funeral Home in Hope Mills on Thursday, August 18, 2011 from 7 to 9pm.
Funeral services will be held at Reeves Funeral Home chapel on Friday, August 19, 2011 at 2pm. Burial will follow at Cumberland Memorial Gardens in Fayetteville.
