DOEPEL, Matilda "Tillie" (nee Elsby);
Passed away with family by her side on Friday August 17th, 2012 at St. Mary's Hospital at the age of 87. Loving mother of John (Karen), Chris (Dave) and Peter (Susan) Doepel. Cherished Gramma of Matthew (Crystal), John Paul (Jackie), Adam, Brooklyn, Ben, Sarah and Stephen (Nicola) and Great Gramma to Joshua, Ava and Olivia. Loving sister of John Elsby, predeceased by her husband Howard, sisters Jenny and Wanda and brothers Walter and Gerry. Heartfelt thanks to the staff of Bankside Terrace for their kindness and compassion during Tilllie's stay. Friends and family may call at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. W. on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. followed by a time of fellowship and refreshment in the Ratz-Bechtel Family Centre. Private interment of cremated remains will take place at Memory Gardens Cemetery, Breslau.
