Megan Jina Lee was born on 6/23/1994 at St. Joseph Hospital in Orange, California.
Megan was 18 years old and just graduated from Valencia High School and on her way to UCLA.
She was diagnosed with rhabdomyosarcoma (cancer) on 3/28/2012 and fought cancer for almost 8 months at CHOC.
She had radiation therapy, chemotherapy, and surgery throughout that time.
Megan had intelligence unequaled in most circles.
Megan had a tremendous but dry sense of humor that touched many lives.
Megan had creativity and talent and surprised everyone with her tremendous drawing abilities, especially "manga."
Megan loved her family including her sisters Emily and Grace, and extended family and friends and was a peacemaker and told me she acted as "Switzerland"
Megan loved life, justice, truthfulness, and kindness which she exhibited in her behavior.
Megan loved Jesus and righteousness.
Megan touched our lives so much and gave us so much love and joy that I thank God that we were indeed privileged and honored to have had her as our daughter. She was a gift from God from beginning until the end and we are thankful beyond words for her, who was more precious than anything imaginable. Since God gave his only begotten son, Jesus Christ, to us, I think He understands the pain we feel and I know that he will watch over us and help us through all of this.
