The former Melva Ellen Seip, aged 88 years.
Loving mother to Diann and her husband Lindsay Shiels of Waterloo and Brian and Julie Kennedy of Kitchener, grandma to Beth, Jeffery and Stephanie and 5 great grandchildren, sadly missed by Cathy Backes of Kitchener.
Predeceased by her parents Adam Seip and Anna Reis, her husband Joe of 53 years in 1999 and four brothers.
At Melva's request there will be no visitation at the funeral home.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, August 18th at 1:00 pm from the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home Chapel, 621 King St. W., Kitchener, reception to follow in the Ratz-Bechtel Family Centre. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Cardiac Care Unit of St. Mary's Hospital as expressions of sympathy through the funeral home.
