Merida Alemany-Matos

MERIDA ALEMANY- MATOS, 66 of Fort Pierce, FL, died April 26, 2012 at her home.

Born in Cabo Rojo, Puerto Rico, Merida was a resident of the Treasure Coast for 20 years, moving from New York.

Prior to retirement, she was a Secretary for Vitt Media Newspaper in Manhattan, NY for 12 years.

Survivors include one son, Edwardo Silvagnoli of New York, NY; one daughter, Evelyn Silvagnoli of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; four grandchildren; four brothers, Edwin Matos of Ft. Pierce, FL, Alfredo Matos and James Matos, both of Port St. Lucie, FL, William Matos of New York, NY; and two sisters, Luz Maria Matos of Stuart, FL and Gladys Matos of Port St. Lucie, FL.

Visitation will be Monday, April 30, 2012, from 6:00PM-8:00PM at the Aycock Funeral Home in Port St. Lucie, FL.

A Funeral Service will be Tuesday, May 1, 2012, 10AM at the Aycock Funeral Home, Port St. Lucie, FL, with interment following at Fernhill Memorial Gardens, Stuart, FL.
