95, of Upland passed away September 10, 2012 at Gracious Living Board & Care, Upland. He was born June 17, 1917 in Canton, OH and lived in Upland 54 years. Michael worked as a mason, the last 30 years Michael went into business; his first venture was Mountain Liquors at Mountain & Foothill in Upland; he sold that business and went back to bricklaying outside the U.S........thus seeing the world several times over. He would recommend China as his greatest adventure. Michael was a great adventurer with many stories & friends. He is survived by his daughter, Myra (Henry) Brande, Tucson, AZ. Visitation will be 12:00 PM tomorrow (09/14/12) with Funeral Service & Military Honors at 1:00 PM, all at Stone Funeral Home.
