Dr. Michael A Baker, PhD
Achieved greatness – to live and be loved. After successfully battling Leukemia, Michael's heart gave out and he left this world early Friday Morning July 19th surrounded by his loved ones at the age of 66.
From a young age Michael was full of life growing up on a horse farm in Indiana. He was an Eagle Scout, Minor league baseball catcher, river patrol boat Commander in Vietnam, International Software Salesman, CEO, Husband , Daddy and Papmu. A man with many hats and talents, but to most he will be remembered with his Greek sailor hat, loving grin, and tenacious spirit. He will be missed on this earth, but looking forward to a reunion in heaven.

Oops! I got my stories mixed up. Michael was very patient waiting for the pastor to show up but it was not Michael and Lori's wedding. It was Chris and Jan's wedding at Michael and Lori's home. Still what I said about Michael holds true. His patience was always a virtue.

Michael, I will always remember your wedding. I was only about 3 hours late and you all waited so patiently since I was the one doing the service. You were a model husband a super father and a friend to so many. Well done good and faithful servant.

Michael, it's been many years since our times together at MSA, but I still remember you smile, engaging laugh and infectious sense of humor. We will miss you but look forward to seeing you on the other side. Please tell your family to close their eyes and remember all the good times!

Wow, I was just thinking of Micheal and his lovely wife Lori last week after not seeing them for 23 yrs.
He was such a fantastic, great guy who will now be in my daily prayers and I know for sure he is much better now with our Lord!
