Mildred Jane Alvey, 79, of Princeton, passed away on January 16, 2011 at St. Francis Hospital in Charleston, WV.
Born August 16, 1931 in Suitland, MD, she was the daughter of the late Claude Stump Jordan and Elsie (Norton) Jordan.
Mildred was a homemaker and attended Free Pentecostal Church at Princeton, WV.
In addition to her parents, she was proceeded in death by husband Alton Emery "Buck" Alvey; granddaughter Nina "GiGi" Martin; three brothers, Bill Jordan, Emery Jordan, Dickie Jordan; two sisters, Lorraine Worth and Elsie Mae Alvey.

Mildred will be sadly missed by her sons, Alton Emery Alvey and wife Robin of Princeton, Carl Ray Alvey of Princeton; daughter, Lorraine Clark of Matoaka; brothers, Donald Jordan and wife Terry of Accokeek, MD, Harry Link Jordan of Waldorf, MD; sister, Carrie Maddan and husband Richard of Waldorf, MD.; special niece, Peggy Wallace and husband Tom of Mechanicsville, MD; and several nieces and nephews; ten grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
