Mildred G. Bost of Enochville, went home to be with her Lord and reunited with her loving husband on January 18, 2014 at her residence. Born on May 29, 1924 in Rowan County, she was the daughter of the late William P. Goodson and Emma Goodman Goodson. Educated in the Rowan County Schools, she was a longtime active member of North Kannapolis Baptist Church. She retried from Electric Wholesale in sales and secretarial. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 2 sisters and 5 brothers, and her husband of 38 years, Junious Bost. Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Carol Nixon (Tommy) of Catawba, Teresa Bost Cline (Ken) of Salisbury and Tamala Bost McCall (Randy) of Sherrills Ford, Brenda Bost Trott (Scott) of Kannapolis, sons Rae Parks (Kay) of Kannapolis and Barry Parks (Jane) of Salisbury, Tim Bost (Linda) of Salisbury.
She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild.
Visitation will be on Monday from 10-11 at Linn Honeycutt Funeral Home in Landis, with funeral at 11 also at the funeral home with Rev. Chris O'Guin minister. In liew of flowers, memorials may be made to North Kannapolis Baptist Church 312 Locust St. Kannapolis, NC 28081 or Wounded Warriers 4899 Belfort Road Suite 300 Jacksonville, Fla, 32256. We are so sorry for the loss of your mother. We did not learn of her passing until today (Tuesday) and sorry we did not have an opportunity to attend the visitation. She was a wonderful person and a dear, dear friend.
